03/29/07: The Last Day of my Highschool Life
I came to school at about 8 o'clock in the morning. "Yes," I thought to myself. I came earlier than the expected time . It was a pretty unusual thing for me to do, honestly. Because as far as I've known myself, I'm always running late especially on school days. Well, maybe it's the perfect day for me to start for a change, isn't it?
As I was walking through the halls until I reached my classroom, I can't help but to look around at my surroundings. By that moment, still, I was not conciously aware that this would be last day in highschool since I was already thinking about what will happen tomorrow at my graduation day. I only realized and felt the impact of the day, when our adviser, T. Marco, reminded us about it. So, to make that day extra special, we decided to pull a prank, not only to our classmates but also to the whole student body as well, including our teachers.
It was fun! Since we were only few at that time, T. Marco, took the initiative to close all the doors and the windows so that the people outside would think that there are no people inside. Then he commanded us to freeze everytime we will see someone coming until we hear him making the signal(beep!) to stand, act like robots and go in one side of the room, falling straightly in line. At the end of the game, I had an aching stomach, an unwanted stretch mark in my face (for continuously laughing out loud), and a heartfelt resounding slap from Nikita (we pulled the prank to her. T. Marco convinced her to go inside the room by lying to her, saying that I was calling for her. Of course, She went to me directly and when I was not responding to her, (since we were all acting like statues) she became afraid so to take out her fear, she slapped me instead. Ouch! It stings!
Well a lot more things happened that day. One of which was our choir performance in the graduation day ceremony of the grade six pupils. After our performance, we recieved a resounding appplause from the audience. Also, I already got my toga for the next day's affair. So I'm all set for the next day. I only hope that the butterflies in my stomach will stop churning the moment I recieve my diploma.
